Check Out America's Scariest Haunts, Thanks To THE HOUSES OCTOBER BUILT

If you are looking for some of America's scariest haunts this Halloween season, then the folks behind the upcoming horror flick The Houses October Built have created a map of some of the best in the country.

They also included all the haunts featured in their film, where the thrill seekers went looking for a notorious group of haunters who offer the most extreme scares. They are noted by the little blue skulls. Just like Hollywood has maps to the stars, this is your map to the scares!

I for one cannot help but notice that a lot of those featured in the movie are located in East Texas. I am reaching for a connection here so bear with me. Most of Joe R Lansdale's novels take place in East Texas. And things usually go pear shaped before they get better in his novels. Now, The Houses October Built makes more sense. Except, being a horror film, it does not get better. It gets much, much worse. What the hell, is going on in East Texas?

The Houses October Built opens in theatres, and on VOD and iTunes this Friday, October 10.

(I've had the opportunity to watch The Houses October Built in hopes of reviewing it. Honestly, I think you will have more fun and stand a better chance at being scared checking out a Haunt near you. You get the idea.)
