October sees the release of Fellini's little-known masterpiece I Clowns and Suzuki Seijun's yakuza classic Youth Of The Beast both join the Masters of Cinema series in stacked dual-format releases. Also that month, Blacula - The Complete Collection hits the shelves just in time for Hallowe'en. 1972's Blacula and its sequel Scream Blacula Scream, both starring William Marshall, will be released together in a dual-format set on the company's burgeoning Eureka Classics label.
In November and December, Masters of Cinema fans will be spoilt rotten by a slew of fantastic releases of, quite simply, some of the greatest films of all time. Fritz Lang's Spione, G.W. Pabst's Diary Of A Lost Girl and Raymond Bernard's five-hour adaptation of Les Miserables will all be released in gorgeous new Blu-ray/DVD dual-format editions. Meanwhile, stunning new 2K restorations of Raoul Walsh's 1924 silent version of The Thief Of Bagdad - starring Douglas Fairbanks - and D.W. Griffith's epic Intolerance will both be released in the UK on Blu-ray for the very first time - also under the Masters of Cinema banner.
As always, we'll bring you more detailed information about the supplements of these releases nearer the time, as well as thorough examinations of them all once we get our hands on them. In the meantime, check out some of the new artwork below, as well as the original trailers to both Blacula films.
