I can say that Discopath is pretty darned fun. It has this cheesy shtick to it, like curds on poutine, and that makes it all the more entertaining to watch. And boy oh boy does it deliver on the gore. I do not recall LPs being used in this fashion. The mid-70′s: a timid young New Yorker leads an uneventful life until he is fatefully exposed to the pulsating rhythms of a brand-new genre of music: Disco! Unable to control his murderous impulses that stem from a traumatic childhood experience, Duane Lewis (Jeremie Earp-Lavergne) transforms into a dangerous serial killer exiled to Montreal. From the unbelievable set design to the killer disco soundtrack (featuring cuts from KC & the Sunshine Band and Kiss), director Renaud Gauthier's Discopath truly is "fun from kooky start to its absolutely batshit finish" (Mark L. Miller, AICN Horror, Ain't It Cool News).
