THR reported that Charlie Cox, recently on Boardwalk Empire until he found himself in a box, has landed the titular role. He will play Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer who dishes out justice at night under the guise of Daredevil.
Netflix will create 13 episodes of the action/drama. Daredevil is the first of multiple Marvel properties Netflix will develop for television; it's expected to debut sometime in 2015.
