The rest of the lineup for the Ithaca International Fantastic Film Festival was announced today and if you are looking for something to heal those post Halloween blues then a trip to Central New York is in order, and you can thumb your nose at those Ivy Leaguers from Cornell at the same time. The following films are joining the already announced of Cheap Thrills, L.F.O.The movie, Confession of Murder, Demon's Rook, Bushido Man and I'm Divine.
This year's closing film will be All Cheerleaders Die. The rest of the slate is In The Name of the Son, Nothing Bad Can Happen, Ben Wheatley's A Field in England, OxV: The Manual, Doomsdays, Sono Sion's Why Don't You Play in Hell?, the movie that made Todd eat his shirt R100, Virtually Heroes, Zoe Bell in the women-in-prison flight flick Raze, this year's Bollywood movie of choice Eega, Noboru Iguchi's Nuiguruma Z, documentary Bending Steel and a retrospective screening of William Lustig's Maniac with the director in attendance.
And don't forget the Dan O'Bannon retrospective screenings of Alien, Dead & Buried, Lifeforce, Heavy Metal, Invaders From Mars and The Return of the Living Dead. Nov. 13-17 in Ithaca promises to be great!
