In the past, Willem (Age 10) and Miranda (Age 8) have talked the films of Studio Ghibli as well as Satoshi Kon's Paprika and Pixar's Brave. The recently got a chance to see Jackie Chan in person as a part of the A Century of Chinese Cinema retrospective in Toronto. Jackie talked about shifting from period kung-fu films to contemporary stunt-driven action films when introducing a 35mm print of Police Story. Afterwards, the kids talk just how crazy-awesome Jackie was when he was ripping up Hong Kong shopping malls and juggling telephone receivers.
The entire archives of Kids Talk Film can be found over at Vimeo including discussion on films as varied as Gremlins, The Rocketeer, and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
