Well, that lasted about 15 seconds, and I caved.
What do we get this time 'round? We get dwarves in barrels, spiders hunting our titular lead, and our first good look at that "most specially greedy, strong and wicked worm", SeƱor Smaug.
We also get to see more of the introduction of some LOTR gang in the form of one Legolas, along with his fair love interest, that woman who was once on some TV show about castaways. Let me be the thousandth of many that will point out that, yes, PJ and co. are expanding the Hobbit to include bits and pieces from the Appendices, and yes, that means things will get a bit... funky.
Still, with all that out of the way, it does look to be as pretty as all the others, with suitable moments of scope and drama. And walking. So, so much walking.
