STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS Big Game Spot

If you can peel your eyes away from the Big Game itself -- I confess I'm presently looking over my shoulder watching the halftime show as I type this. Zowie! -- we would like to direct your attention to the Big Game spot for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness. 

It is short and sweet but has just a smattering of new footage, including more jumping from tremendous heights. Are we picking up on a new trend here? Lens flares and plummeting from high places? Is this something we should come to expect in Episode VII?
