AMOUR Wins Nearly Every Major Award at French Version of Oscars, The Césars

On the eve of the Academy Awards, Michael Haneke's meditation on death, Amour, swept the César Awards in France, taking home best film, best director, best actor and actress and best original screenplay. That means that the film with the most nominations, Camille Rewinds, and the film with the most love here at ScreenAnarchy, Holy Motors, both walked away with zero awards. Meanwhile, Argo took home the award for best foreign film and my favorite movie of last year, Ernest and Celestine won the award for best animated film. Here's the full list of awards:
