MIDNIGHT SON Trailer Gives Us a Taste of the Modern Vampire

The directorial debut from Scott Leberecht, who made a name for himself as a visual effects art director on films like Spawn and Sleepy Hollow, is the story of a young man with a rare skin condition, forced to stay out of the sun. His solitary, isolated existence opens up when he meets a beautfiul bartender, but his behaviour becomes increasingly bizarre and more, oh let's say...vampiric!

With echoes of everything from George Romero's Martin to Tomas Alfredson's Let The Right One In, Midnight Son shows some serious potential from this new trailer. After premiering in the UK at FrightFest last year, Midnight Son is now slated for a theatrical release on 11 January 2013, courtesy of Monster Pictures.
