The best film I saw at this years HotDocs festival, and unanimously praised amongst the ScreenAnarchy staff thus far, Bart Layton's marvelously constructed The Imposter dropped its trailer onto the interweb and it is a good one. Without revealing any of the myriad twists or break-neck turns of the film it does demonstrate how Layton gives James Marsh and Errol Morris a run for their money in the polished truth-is-stranger-than-fiction department. Sharply edited and wonderfully scored (the film itself is a master-class in both) - check it out below.
