We've got all the details on the SXSW Shorts Lineup to compliment our announcements of the Features Lineup and Midnighters. There are a whopping 135 shorts in no fewer than 8 programs. Man, it must be crazy to program the shorts section of this fest.
135 short films were selected from 3,306 short film submissions, and will screen as part of twelve overall shorts programs. This year SXSW moved up submission deadlines a month earlier than previous years, and still saw a saw an increase of 7% in Short film submissions over 2011.
