It may seem like ancient history now, but it was only a bit over a year ago that Conan O'Brien walked away from The Tonight Show, leaving his showbiz future in question. What followed was a comedy tour, gigantic twitter campaign, and a pretty damned successful lead in to Lopez Tonight. Conan O'Brien Can't Stop is the behind-the-scenes look at the comedy tour part of the equation and offers up a whole lot of Conan at his best.
Pretty much everyone who caught successful TV director Rodman Flender's documentary at SXSW was a fan. People called it an interesting look at Conan's psychological condition during such harrowing times... oh, and said it's ridiculously funny. So funny you only get to hear every other joke because you are laughing so much. I hope they're right.
The film comes to theaters via Abramorama June 24th but in an interesting co-distribution deal, AT&T U-Verse customers will be able to watch the film before it hits the big screen. More details on the sneak peak are still forthcoming. Enjoy the trailer below.
