If you are an animation fan then Bluray has been a godsend. Colors pop, detail stands out etc. Any season of the Simpsons is well worth picking up although with this being number thirteen enthusiasts arriving late in the game are having to play serious catch up- unless they prefer Blu. There are only two seasons of the show available on Bluray so far.
This 22 episode season captured some great Simspon history. Lisa becomes a Buddhist, Moe and Homer enter into a deadly battle over the future of Moe's Tavern, Apu falls into adultery and Bart creates the online cartoon Angry Dad. You get audio commentary on every episode, sketch gallery, multi angle animation views, deleted scenes commercials and various featurettes.
