Beowulf Stills **UPDATED** and HD Trailer

Ray Winstone is looking mighty trim in one of two stills released (via the LA Times) from Robert Zemekis' Mo-Cap version of Beowulf penned by Roger Avery and Neil Gaiman. Apparently this is PG-13 version of the epic poem has toned down a fair bit of the sex and violent imagery and Gaiman and company are pushing for a 'more hardcore' version of the DVD. Photo-realistic animation seems to be the order of the day and things look very, very good. Expect more details to drop regarding the project at the upcoming ComicCon.

A larger version of the still on the left (as well as one other) can be found at ShockTillYouDrop.

**UPDATED** Now the Trailer in Various formats has been put up on Apple.com. Unlike the photorealism the stills suggest, it looks a surreal mix of cartoon-ish, videogame-ish and real-ish.
