KLOWN Writer Goes UNDERCOVER With New Danish Comedy

A huge star in his native Denmark and well known around the world for his work on the Klown films and television series, Danish comic Casper Christensen serves as the screenwriter of Nikolaj Peyk's Undercover - a new crime comedy designed to show off the talents of comedienne Linda P.

Rikke, allegedly Denmark’s worst police officer, is looking forward to Christmas with roast duck and rice pudding. But on Christmas Eve, she is assigned to her first undercover mission: she must follow petty criminal and crown witness Mick to the island of Funen, before an infamous gangster boss and his minions get their hands on him and the 120,000 euros he has stolen.

The involvement of Christensen makes this immediately of interest in these parts and the freshly released trailer - no subtitles, sadly, though plenty of visual gags - makes te obvious point of comparison Melissa McCarthy's work with Paul Feig. This looks like big, broad, crowd pleasing stuff. Take a look below!
