Hey, LA! Win Tickets to See Visionary Sci-fi Film EMBERS

There are few greater pleasures than discovering a talented filmmaker at the start of what promises to be a dynamic career in storytelling. Claire Carré is one of those filmmakers, and her directorail debut Embers is one of those films.

A Science Fiction yarn that charts the lives of a group of survivors in a world post-memory, Embers releases today on iTunes and VOD platforms stateside. But for those in Los Angeles, it gets a full theatrical release this Friday, August 5th. With richly varied production design and costuming I certainly think Embers warrants the big screen experience. As such, ScreenAnarchy is partnering with Slamdance Presents to giveaway two pairs of tickets for Opening Night and the Big Ideas, Small Budget: Indie Sci-fi panel which is to follow the screening. I'll be hosting a conversation with Carré, her co-writer Charles Spano, Rebecca Rose Perkins, producer of Jackrabbit, and Sharon Greene, co-writer of Operator

All you have to do to enter is email me at ben@screenanarchy.com with the subject line 'EMBERS Tix' by Thursday at 6pm PST with your first and last name.

Showtime is August 5th at 6:30pm at the Arclight Hollywood. Please arrive no later than 6:15. For those entering -- good luck! And for those who still curious, check out the full run down of screenings and panels for the whole week, as well as my review.
