Argentina's Valentin Javier Diment ranks as one of Latin America's finest purveyors of cinematic oddity. His Memory Of The Dead played like a garishly colored, deliriously over the top blend of Sam Raimi and Dario Argento and while the palette may be more muted on his latest effort - The Rotten Link - the end result is no less odd.
The tale of a simplistic woodcutter in a remote town tearing itself apart at the seams, we covered this one a fair bit in its early stages and with a lengthy festival run now behind it and the Argentinean theatrical release due to begin tomorrow a brand new theatrical trailer has been released. There are no English subtitles, sadly, but the grisly sense of humor is abundantly clear.
