Miike Takashi's live-action adaptation of the hit sci-fi manga Terra Formars is coming to Japanese cinemas in April next year.
The film tells the story of humans leaving moss and cockroaches on Mars to make it inhabitable, and when they return to the Red Planet years later, they find themselves in the company of some nasty humanoid cockroaches.
The all-star cast include Kikuchi Rinko (Pacific Rim), Fukushima Rila (The Wolverine), Ito Hideaki (Lesson of the Evil), Yamada Takayuki (13 Assassins) and Oguri Shin (Crows Zero) and Takei Emi (Rurouni Kenshin).
It certainly looks like Terra Formars has a good chance of becoming one of Miike's biggest blockbusters, and here's a new teaser to give you a taste of what to expect.
