Anyway, as tweens grow more sophisticated as the years go by in terms of dress, makeup, social status, and technology, here's a film to cater to them --- #Horror will be out on VOD as well as theatrically on November 20th from IFC Midnight. It will be the feature debut of clothing designer, actress, and producer Tara Subkoff. A group of privileged girls has a party and cyberbullying ensues. That's when things get deadly.
Here's the official IMDB synopsis:
Inspired by actual events, a group of 12 year old girls face a night of horror when the compulsive addiction of an online social media game turns a moment of cyber bullying into a night of insanity.
These girls come from a rich, exclusive world, played by some actual heirs and heiresses to long lines of American dynasties. Balthazar Getty comes from the Getty oil fortune family, while Stella Schnabel descends from painter and director Julian Schnabel, and actress/model Lydia Hearst is indeed from the Hearst publishing empire.
