A watery death is coming to the fjords of Norway courtesy of Cold Prey director Roar Uthaug. Uthaug has taken the actual events of 1934 when a landslide into a fjord triggered a tsunami that essentially wiped the community of Talfjord off the map and used it as the basis for his upcoming disaster epic The Wave (Bolgen).
Uthaug is a long time favorite here at ScreenAnarchy, one of the most technically proficient directors in the world, and so we've been keeping an eye on this one for quite some time. And while it has already released a pair of impressive trailers neither of those comes anywhere close to eh sheer epic scope of what is contained within the just released new effort. There are no subtitles included, sadly, but their lack does not in any way reduce the tension of what is unfolding. Check it out below.
