Director Uchida Eiji Presents The Kohan Film And Music Festival

Anyone in Japan this August might want to check out the all-new Kohan Film and Music Festival taking place at stunning Lake Motosu, situated in the shadow of Mount. Fuji. 

The festival is hosted by Greatful Dead director Uchida Eiji who's brought together a great lineup of recent indie cinema hits to enjoy in the tranquil surroundings. Winner of the Japanese Splash section at last year's Tokyo Film Festival, 100 Yen Love will be there, as will this year's Yubari Film Festival champ Makeup Room. Uchida's own Greatful Dead will also be showing, a deliciously black comedy and sharp satire which takes aim at Japan's rapidly aging population. 

There are many more films on offer alongside bands and music acts which will be playing across the weekend, as well as appearances from special guests, including many directors and stars from the films on show.

Kohan Film and Music Festival takes place August 1st and 2nd.
