One of the most successful horror franchises in the world comes to an end June 20th when the Ochiai Masayuki directed Juon: The Final hits Japanese screens with one final dose of horrific thrills featuring ghostly child Toshio and his dear departed mother.

Though original director Shimizu Takashi is long since departed from the series, producer Ichise Takashige remains a hands-on presence, having co-written this final installment. Story? Sure, there is one, sort of, but really it's all just about wondering when the kid in the underpants is gonna turn up and do something horrible.
