Popular Japanese film website Eiga.com has unveiled a new teaser poster for Miike Takashi's eagerly anticipated horror gangster mash-up, Yakuza Apocalypse: The Great War of the Underworld (極道大戦争). It's the first poster to feature the main cast, and it's just as cool as one would expect from a Miike film. Front and center is Ichihara Hayato (Kageyama), with Riko Narumi (Kyoko) on the left, and Lily Franky (Kamiura) on the right. Shibuhawa Kiyohiko, Takashima Reiko, EXILE's Aoyagi Sho, Pierre Taki, Yuki Mio, Denden, and The Raid's Yayan Ruhian make an appearance.
It's also been revealed that the mysterious metal baseball bat-wielding figure in a frog suit that pops up in the very last seconds of the film's first official teaser is a Kaeru-kun, a man who, for some as yet unknown reasons, wants to kill Kageyama and Kamiura. He's the star of a surprise second poster, and a self-proclaimed "natural enemy of the yakuza". And if that wasn't convincing enough, the huge pink characters above his head say "I hate yakuza".
Check out both posters in the gallery below!
