Max Porcelijn To Present THE GLORIOUS WORKS OF G.F. ZWAEN

Well, now, here's a bit of news that brightens our souls on a cold winter day.

Dutch helmer Max Porcelijn - pictured above getting drunk before writing a review of his own movie at Fantastic Fest - won a lot of love here at ScreenAnarchy for his debut feature, Plan C. and that love was shared both abroad - it would win Best Screenplay at Fantastic Fest - and at home - where it picked up a pair of Golden Calf awards - and we've been eagerly awaiting word on how Porcelijn would follow up his sly, dark, crime comedy. And now we know.

Porcelijn will launch production in April on his sophomore feature, The Glorious Works Of G. F. Zwaen, and it appears he'll be mining a similar tone to his debut.

A struggling novelist becomes a key figure in a plot between a drug dealer, a corrupt cop, an internal affairs detective and a bag of money in 90's Amsterdam.
We shall be watching this one closely so keep an eye out for future updates.
