Remember an awesome animated short called The Chase that we featured here on ScreenAnarchy three years ago? Yes, that was the one made by Tomas Vergara, then 25 years of age and living in Chile. He gave up his full-time job in advertising to make the film in an isolated cabin in the woods over six months with a budget of US $700!
Now Vergara is back with his new project, titled Isolated, which he directs and co-writes. This time, he is working with a team and a bigger budget.
A taxi driver wakes up in a deserted city -- only to find himself pursued by humans. Struggling to piece together what is going on, the driver soon discovers he has more in common with the raging humans, more than what he thinks.
As you can see for yourself, Isolated is intense, exciting and high-octane. Enjoy!
