The Animated Pig Returns! Check Out The Trailer For MCDULL: ME & MY MOM!

McDull - the little animated pig who has been a HUGE hit with audiences in his native Hong Kong - is back! And this is a very good thing because while not all of his big screen outings have been as strong as others - experimentation with mixed media and meta narrative have not worked so well - McDull still manages to convey a charm that is rare, indeed, and the trailer for this latest feels more like a throwback to the simplicity of the early (read: best) offerings than anything in more recent days.

For the uninitiated, McDull is a young pig in preschool having little preschool adventures. The series has a long history of slipping a bit of social satire into the humor - jabbing particularly at family relationships and the pressures to conform - but is at its best when it lets the character shine through.
