OVER YOUR DEAD BODY: Watch The Blood Soaked Full Trailer For Miike's Latest

After a lengthy foray into more mainstream fare, Japan's premiere cinematic bad boy is back into the horror genre where he made his name in a big way. Yes, Miike Takashi has laid on more of the red stuff with his recent work than he has in several years and all signs are the blood will not abate any time soon.

Up next on Japanese screens from Miike is Over Your Dead Body (Kuime), a loose adaptation of classic ghost story Yotsuya Kaidan. And following on a previous teaser back in April a full trailer has now arrived. Here's how Eigapedia translates the synopsis:

An actor named Kosuke plays the role of Iemon in a stage version of Yotsuya Kaiden and his new lover Miyuki plays Oiwa. However, as they delve deeper into their respective performances, the line between fantasy and reality becomes obscured until the murderous, vengeful themes of the play bleed into their own relationship.
