Ladies and gentlemen, I want you to repeat this with me: 1980's inspired short film
Kung Fury has an Oscar nominated producer amongst the team bringing it to fruition. You get that, people? Oscar nominated. This is
art. Art that features skateboards, time hacking, a Viking babe with a machine gun, the Norse god Thor smiting Nazis, and a dinosaur riding hero. Art, I say! Art!
During an unfortunate series of events a friend of Kung Fury is
assasinated by the most dangerous kung fu master criminal of all time;
Adolf Hitler, a.k.a Kung Führer.
Kung Fury decides to travel back in time, to Nazi Germany, in order to
kill Hitler and end
the Nazi empire once and for all. Kung Fury is a visually spectacular
action comedy that
has it's foundation in 80s cop movies.
Director / star / VFX guru David Sandberg has already shot the entire thirty minute film and completed the amazing trailer below - seriously, go watch it now and then come back to finish reading - and is
currently running a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds needed to get it through post production in timely fashion. Give him your money. Give it to him right now. Or Thor will smite you with his hammer.
