Fred Cavaye is, quite simply, the man. Or I suppose I should say Fred Cavaye est l'homme. There was a time a decade or two back when Luc Besson was l'homme but with Besson long since having decided that he was more interested in franchising his name than writing a character that anybody actually gave a damn about he vacated that title and with Cavaye putting together a body of work culminating - on the action front, at least, with 2010 effort
Point Blank he has proven that he is not just a worthy successor to the Besson who made
Leon but is, in fact, arguably more l'homme than Besson ever was. He is very, very good and he's returning to French screens in early 2014 with his newest effort,
Mea Culpa.
Franck and Simon are
both good cops. They work as partners. But their lives take a tailspin
when Simon, driving drunk, causes a tragic car wreck.
A few years later, out of the police, he is forced to take matters into his own hands when his family is in danger.
Vincent Lindon and Gilles Lellouche star and we are proud to present the first english subtitled trailer for the film exclusively here at ScreenAnarchy. Take a look below.
