If your exposure to the thespian is merely through his long, long tenure as TV's Dr. Frasier Crane, than you may think those words are absolutely ridiculous. But if you watched Grammer on his other starring (but short lived) TV Show Boss, well then you know the good doctor turned surely powerbroker can "toss your salad and scramble your egg" in more ways than one. And by that I mean he's kind of a bad-ass.
So after starring with Sly in the upcoming drama Reach Me, is it any wonder that Stallone has tapped Grammer to join The Expendables 3? Naw. Deadline reports that Grammer is oh so close to signing on the dotted line for the role of Bonaparte, a mercenary that helps Sly and the gang on whatever shit-hitting-fan scenario they're finding themselves in this time.
So let's take a look at the confirmed tally of grumpy old men and slightly less old, but still surely men. We've got Sly, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Harrison Ford, Terry Crews, Antonio Banderas, Jet Li, Mel Gibson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Wesley Snipes and now Grammer in a role that Nic Cage was once rumored to be attached to. Let's not even dream about that one shall we?
Okay then. Now is it too much to ask for a cameo by David Hyde-Pierce? After all, both Crane boys appeared in guest spots on The Simpsons.
