Russell Crowe Set To Make Feature Directing Debut With THE WATER DIVINER

"Are you not entertained!?" 

He's won an Oscar for his acting, fronted a rock band, played Superman's dad and led the hunt for UFOs in Sydney (seriously). Now Russell Crowe, Renaissance Man, wants to add feature directing to his resume, according to reports he's in talks to direct The Water Diviner for Hopscotch Features.

Written by Andrew Knight (who was one of the creators behind the brilliant Rake) and Andrew Anastasios, The Water Diviner is set in 1919, and tell the story of an Australian father who travels to Turkey to find his two sons, who are missing after the battle of Gallipoli.
