Hey, NYC! Win Tix To The Aussie Thriller WISH YOU WERE HERE, Starring Joel Edgerton

Australia has been mighty kind over the last couple of years to audiences who enjoy a good character-based thriller. Films that ScreenAnarchy has taken a liking to which fall under this category include The Square, Snowtown, and, of course, the much lauded Animal Kingdom. While never getting a full review here on the site, James Marsh and Ryland Aldrich did have good things to say about Kieran Darcy-Smith's Asian-vacation-gone-wrong Wish You Were Here during its festival run, making particular note of the performances by Joel Edgerton, Felicity Price, and Teresa Palmer.

As more than luck would have it, we've got ten double passes to give away to a June 4th screening of the movie in New York City. If you'd like a chance to win a pair all you've gotta do is email me here under the subject 'WISH TIX', and tell me your worst vacation memory. The most awful ones will win. So get 'em in by Sunday June 2nd and you'll be as close to golden as you can get -- good luck!

Four friends indulge in a carefree Cambodian holiday, but their sun-soaked retreat quickly takes a horrific turn when one of the travelers disappears. As the search ensues, the others return home, racked with guilt and struggling to return to their daily lives. Does one of them hold the answer to the fate of their lost companion? Tightly-held secrets from their life-altering trip are brought to light, revealing clues to the whereabouts of their missing friend.

Wish You Were Here is in select U.S. theaters June 7th.
