Sofia Carrillo is a great favorite here at ScreenAnarchy, the Guadalajara based animator turning out consistently stunning stop motion gems.The level of craftsmanship is always truly remarkable with Carrillo and while that necessitates a bit of a gap between projects the wait is always worth it.

And now Carrillo is back with her latest work, The Sad House (La Casa Triste). Carrillo describes the film as the story of a family as told through objects found in junk shops and flea markets and you can watch the absolutely gorgeous trailer below.
