Dustin Nguyen makes his much anticipated directorial debut with martial arts fantasy Once Upon A Time In Vietnam (Lua Phat), a fight flick spectacle that owes equal debts to American westerns, steampunk aesthetics and local influences. We've been tracking this one from all the way back in script stage when it was known as Monk On Fire and with a summer release coming the full trailer has just been released.

Verdict? Things are looking rather good indeed. If there was one area of concern - and one area not really addressed by the previous teaser - it was how the visual effects would come out as this is still a relatively new area for Vietnam but the visuals are looking strong from start to finish.
