Inspired by the 2009 suicide of actress Jang Je-yeon, Norigae follows an investigative reporter who tries to unearth the truth behind an actress' death. The burly but very talented Ma Dong-seok (Nameless Gangster, Neighbors), whose mournful eyes are the ones staring at you on the left, takes on one of his first starring roles. I'm not familiar with director Choi Seung-ho but this is a film that concerns an issue I find particularly distressing so I'll be eager to check it out.
However, other similarly morally righteous films have come out in Korea of late and they have not always hit the mark (Azooma, Don't Cry Mommy).
