Watch Out Tony Jaa & Johnny Tri Nguyen, Here's Vidyut Jamwal In The Trailer For COMMANDO - A ONE MAN ARMY

"No stunt doubles, no computer images, no strings attached"

This was the tagline that accompanied Tony Jaa's Ong Bak when it appeared on the world's radar back in 2003-2004. Since then Jaa has gone a wee bit crazy and has succumbed to wire-fu. In his stead we have fast rising Vietnamese star, Johnny Tri Nguyen, who has devastated screens with rip roaring performances in films like The Rebel and Clash. It looks like it may be time to add another name to the list of home-grown, all-natural martial arts stars, and it is India's Vidyut Jamwal.

Jamwal is a relatively new face on the scene, making his first appearance on-screen in 2011's coming of age story, Stanley Ka Dabba. However, it was in John Abraham's Force, a remake of Tamil film Kaakha Kaakha, that he made his presence known to the world at large as a potential action superstar.

In Commando - A One Man Army, Jamwal takes the lead, and holy fucking shit is he impressive. On top of being ripped beyond all reasonable limits, he moves like a goddamned cobra. Imagine a guy who looks like Michael Jai White and can do acrobatics like Jaa and Nguyen, it's crazy!

This being a Hindi film, they appear to have shoehorned a love story into the mix, so there will undoubtedly be songs and such, but fuck it, I'm excited! This looks like a proper Rambo styled vigilante flick, and I can't wait!

On a somewhat related note, I've been tracking a Telugu film called Oh My God (not related to the recent Bollywood religious comedy) starring a gentleman named Master Kamal. I have no idea about that film yet, as I've only seen stills, but it might be another one to look out for.

In the meantime, here's the ass-kicking trailer for Commando - A One Man Army, due in theaters this March
