SCREENANARCHY EXCLUSIVE: Check Out The Premiere Of Amazing Sci-Fi Short LOVE LIKE ALIENS!

ScreenAnarchy is proud to host the online premiere of Rashad Haughton's incredible animated sci-fi short, Love Like Aliens. We were the first place to host the trailer, which went on to be featured on all of the major geek and anime sites, and following a wonderful world premiere at the Asian Film Festival of Dallas a few weeks ago, the team being Love Like Aliens has chosen to unveil their full vision here with us.

Over the course of the AFFD, I was able to speak with director/composer Rashad Haughton and his producer Yosuke Nagafuchi, and they were extremely excited to get the opportunity to share this film with ScreenAnarchy readers. Love Like Aliens was given a Special Jury Award at the AFFD, and I think that may just be the beginning. Here's the official synopsis of Love Like Aliens from Haughton and Nagafuchi:
In a future not too far from now, humanity has advanced to a point where the line between Homo Sapiens and Androids have blurred completely. This has occurred so that the species could survive. Technology has allowed humans to travel into deep space to colonize other planets and galaxies deep in the universe because Earth has become uninhabitable. One of the many unfortunate results of this robotic Darwinism is that human behavior and consciousness has also changed over the years. Much of what makes one human -- love, family, intimacy etc., have all become things of the past. Almost legend...
This is some incredible work, especially from a first timer like Haughton. During their Q&A at the festival, the pair mentioned their interest in turning Love Like Aliens into a feature, and it looks to me like there is a lot there to flesh out and good potential for a feature. The film was commissioned as a kind of tribute to artist Sorayama Hajime, however, the films themes and musical accompaniment are all Rashad Haughton.

Please, give Love Like Aliens the next six minutes of your life and share like crazy!
