Well, here's an odd approach to marketing your film. With the theatrical release of Hideaki Anno's Evangelion 3.0 approaching the official teaser has arrived online and in Japanese theaters. Which is not unusual at all. What is strange, however, is that it features no footage from the movie whatsoever. None of the characters, none of the titular robots. Nothing. It's just a piece of music played by a CG animated piano.
I suppose when the movie you're promoting is one of the most famous anime titles of all time you can get away with something like this, but still ... weird.
