Teaser Trailer for Top Gun... I Mean Korean Blockbuster SOAR INTO THE SUN

One of the summer's biggest blockbusters in Korea has just launched a teaser trailer, coming about a week after the first poster.  Soar Into the Sun, which will be released in August, stars Kpop hearthrob and threetime 'Time Magazine Most Influential Person of the Year' Rain. You may recognize him from Ninja Assassin (2009) and Speed Racer (2008) but outside of his music career he his primarily known for K-Drama roles.

A cocky fighter jet pilot gets himself transfered to a new unit after pulling a dangerous stunt where he ends up going head to head with a straight-laced rival. So basically this is the Korean version of the timeless American blockbuster Top Gun. Teaser doesn't reveal much but the technical level of the production seems high. We'll just have to wait and see if the story can hold up too!
