Mamoru Hosoda's two feature films, THE GIRL WHO LEAPT THROUGH TIME and SUMMER WARS, are simply two of the best anime films ever made. His latest, the much anticipated THE WOLF CHILDREN, AME AND YUKI, will be arriving on Japanese screens on July 21.
Synopsis: Hana is a 19-year-old college student. She falls in love with a werewolf and has two children, Ame and Yuki. The four live quietly in a corner of a city, but Hana decides to move to the countryside when the father werewolf suddenly dies.
A new TV spot has just arrived. It is shorter than the teaser that ScreenAnarchy showed a couple of months back, but does contain some beautiful new footage. The gorgeous animation and Hosoda's story-telling skills together should make THE WOLF CHILDREN, AME AND YUKI another great anime.
