TIFF 2011: First Look At Nick Stahl In Vincenzo Natali Produced Thriller 388 ARLETTA AVE

In December of 2010 I had the chance to visit the set of Randall Cole's 388 Arletta Ave, a new thriller produced by Splice director Vincenzo Natali. It was as close to an invisible film set that I've ever been on, so much so that if I hadn't known exactly where I was going I would have missed it, the production style tailored to match the central conceit of the film.

Seen entirely from the point of view of hand-held and surveillance cameras, 388 Arletta Avenue tells the story of a couple, Nick Stahl and Mia Kirshner, who do not realize they are being watched. The watching becomes a subtle manipulation which ultimately escalates into a deadly cat-and-mouse game.

With the film now about to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival the first trio of official stills have arrived. Check them below and hit the link down there to read my full set visit account.
