Brad Pitt's new film MONEYBALL is a drama based on a book by Michael M. Lewis titled Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game, about the Oakland Athletics baseball team's analytical and new sabermetric approach to scouting baseball players under constraints of its revenue system. Also in the cast are Robin Wright, Jonah Hill and Philip Seymour Hoffman. MONEYBALL is directed by Bennett Miller, whose last directorial effort was the acclaimed 2005 film CAPOTE.
