A quick scan of the archives here at ScreenAnarchy will turn up a number of works from Ayz Waraich and his partners at Dimeworth. The talented director and DP has had his fingers in a number of low budget scifi and action projects that always end up looking far better than their budgets should possibly allow.
Waraich's latest short, This Place I Hurt To Be, is a much smaller and more intimate piece, something written and produced on short order with a skeleton crew when Waraich learned he would have access to resources and actors just a couple days down the line. Once again it's a showcase of his skills behind the camera and you can watch the complete short below.
Also worth noting here is that Waraich is currently running a campaign on Kickstarter to fund his debut feature film. We get a ton of Kickstarter requests here at ScreenAnarchy and, honestly, it's generally territory that I choose not to go in to because it is so unpredictable and the talent so unknown but I'm making an exception here because it's Waraich. And he's good. Find out more about the feature project here.
