Ram Gopal Varma's Dongala Mutha Has A Music Video

I've posted a few bits about Indian auteur Ram Gopal Varma's five day film project, Dongala Mutha.  Initially I figured it would be an arthouse feature, which in India means no song and dance numbers.  With only five days of shooting, it seemed like choreographing anything would be far too complex.  I was wrong.

Just a couple of days ago, RGV posted a new making of video and a music video for the title song, Dongala Mutha (A Gang of Thieves).  It isn't as glossy as other Indian musical numbers, but the fact that they managed to choreograph and shoot it while shooting a full feature in only five days total is pretty damned impressive.  The making of video is not in English, but does give an interesting bird's eye view of making a film with only Canon 5D's and no artificial lighting.  Check it out below.
