Dolph Lundgren Dyes His Hair Black and Puts On Barry White.

According to his Twitter that's exactly what the Swedish action legend is up to these days, having just started production on Jonas Ã…kerlund's Small Apartments, an independent comedy adapted from a novella by Chris Millis. No word on who Dolph is playing, but this is certainly an interesting, if not radical shift for the man who in recent years has had something of a renaissance with his directorial action efforts and a role in Sly Stallone's The Expendables.

Small Apartments on the other hand appears to be an odd-ball, character-driven comedy based around an urbanite named Franklin Franklin who plays the alpine horn and dreams of the pastoral peace that is Switzerland. Franklin is being played by Little Britain's Matt Lucas, and the rest of the cast is populated with some interesting comedy and character actors, including, Peter Stormare, Johnny Knowxville, and James Caan.

Our thanks to Jeremie Damoiseau, webmaster of Dolph-Ultimate, for alerting us to Dolph's Twitter feed and Chris Millis' website. Too early to know where the film will end up, but I'd expect festival dates next winter.
