The good folk at Mondo Macabro set themselves a difficult task with Jess Franco's Lorna The Exorcist: To release the film as originally seen thirty seven years ago on initial release. To do so they had to pull in multiple sources - including the original negative - to reassemble the film as Franco originally made it, the end result being a version nearly 100 minutes long containing footage not included in any previous video release.
Though not huge the Franco cult is certainly a loyal one - and deservedly so - and this looks to be an essential release for those in the know. Extras include both English and French language tracks, a profile of Franco by author and musician Stephen Thrower, Thrower's analysis of Lorna, and an interview with frequent Franco editor Gerard Kikoine.
