I can't shake the feeling that there's a marketing problem surrounding Greg Mottola's Paul. The concept is funny. I like literally everybody involved in it. It's definitely targeting people exactly like me but ... I'm not sure. Is it trying too hard? Or is it as simple as the fact that it's saddled with one of the most boring titles in the history of film? I mean, really ... Paul. Just Paul. It tells you nothing at all. It gives no reason to be excited.
But I digress. Trailers for the film began rolling out in the UK a while ago and now the US has gotten in on the act with the first official US trailer turning up today at Apple. Will it help me feel better about things ... let's find out ...
