Malaysia's James Lee - an art film director who took a hard turn into extreme horror with Histeria and has dabbled with genre tropes ever since - is going to have a very busy year, one that could potentially see him much in demand on the genre festival circuit.
Back in June we reported on his then-in-progress horror comedy Help! My Girlfriend Is A Vampire and today we discovered stills for another in-progress horror title - this one of the much more realistic variety - titled Clay Pot Curry Killers.
Set in modern day Kuala Lumpur the picture revolves around a family run restaurant that specializes in dishes containing - shall we say - meat of questionable origin. Daughters lure them in, mother butchers them up. Rinse, repeat.
Lee has posted a gallery of stills - mostly behind the scenes production snaps - on his Facebook page and we've lifted the best of the proper film stills for our gallery below. Very, very promising stuff.
