Bekmambetov and Burton have their Abe Lincoln.
After considering and testing a number of high profile names for the lead of the film version of Seth Grahame-Smith's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter the role has gone to relative unknown Benjamin Walker. Walker is best known so far for his bits in Kinsey and Flags Of Our Fathers but his lack of name value wasn't enough to keep him from beating out the likes of Adrien Brody and Josh Lucas.
The picture will be directed by Wanted's Timur Bekmambetov with Tim Burton producing and author Seth Grahame-Smith adapting his own novel and on board as an associate producer.
